the middle of the end?

Today it was reported that one of the largest newspapers, Detroit Free Press and partner Detroit News, are considering scaling back their home delivery service to three days only; Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. A formal announcement is expected by Tuesday. This sort of down-sizing is not necessarily unusual for smaller publications but Detroit's is perhaps the largest scale-down to date. Stay tuned.
